Terms of Service

ForRestaurants.in is an AI-powered reel creation platform designed specifically for restaurants, cafes, dhabas, cloud kitchens, food trucks, and other food businesses in India. The Service allows you to generate short-form marketing videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, TikTok, and WhatsApp using uploaded food photos and optional selfies. Each rendered reel includes a ready-to-post Hinglish caption.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The Service is intended for business use by food and restaurant operators.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@forrestaurants.ca if you suspect unauthorized access.

ForRestaurants.in is currently in free early access.

• Free early access: You can generate a restaurant reel for free. No credit card and no payment are required. Fair-use limits apply so the free tier stays available for everyone.
• Paid plans: Paid subscriptions are not yet available. We are finalising plans and will publish pricing, payment options and terms on the pricing page before any charge is ever made. Any prices shown in future will be in INR (₹), with applicable taxes stated at that time.

You retain full ownership of all photos and other materials you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant ARTEFAC INC. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload.
• Your Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• If your upload includes a person's likeness (e.g., a selfie or photo of staff), you have that person's consent to use their image in a marketing reel.
• Your Content does not contain anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable under Indian law.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we do not use it to train AI models without your explicit written consent.

Reels rendered by the Service using Your Content are owned by you. You may download, post, share, and use your rendered reels for marketing your restaurant freely. You do not need to credit ForRestaurants.in, though we appreciate it.

Rendered reels are stored on our servers for 90 days from the date of creation. After 90 days, they are permanently deleted. Download your reels before then.

The "Share to WhatsApp" feature redirects you to WhatsApp on your device to share your reel link. We do not access your WhatsApp account, contacts, or messages. Use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Every rendered reel includes a Hinglish caption generated by AI. These captions are provided as a convenience and are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring any caption you post complies with applicable laws and platform guidelines before publishing.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or deceptive.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Upload content that contains nudity, violence, hate speech, or material illegal under Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Service without our written permission.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of this section.

All software, templates, design elements, AI models, branding, and other materials that make up the Service are owned by ARTEFAC INC. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property other than the right to use the Service as described herein.

"ForRestaurants.in," the ForRestaurants logo, and related marks are trademarks of ARTEFAC INC. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

The Service is designed to work alongside platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Zomato, Swiggy, Petpooja, and others. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. Our Service does not connect to or modify your accounts on those platforms — you post your reels manually.

If you are a consumer located in India, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable Indian consumer protection law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reels will achieve any particular results on social media platforms. Results vary based on your content, posting strategy, and platform algorithms. Testimonials shown on the website are illustrative examples — individual results will vary.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARTEFAC INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may cancel your account at any time through account settings or by emailing info@forrestaurants.ca. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Unused credits are forfeited upon cancellation.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. However, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at info@forrestaurants.ca. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or SMS at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
